Simply select Microsoft Email + Calendar from the list of available integrations and authenticate your account to import meetings and emails into Memtime. From there, you can check automatically recorded emails activities, scheduled appointments, and create time entries. In case you’d like a step-by-step walkthrough, you can find detailed instructions in our knowledge base article for this integration.
Memtime automatically syncs items from Microsoft Calendar, such as meetings or events. It also tracks emails sent from both the Outlook desktop app and the Outlook mobile app, displaying email details (subject, recipients, and message content) in your Memory Aid. They show up in the Memory Aid, ready for you to turn into time entries. All syncing happens automatically, so there’s no need to recreate data or manage things in two places.
After you authenticate your Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account, you can select one or more of its calendars to sync with Memtime. You can also choose to show all-day events or only confirmed events, and your appointments appear in Memtime next to your automatically captured activities.
Microsoft Email + Calendar connected app supports Microsoft accounts only, such as Outlook.com and Microsoft 365. While you can add email accounts from other providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) to the Outlook desktop app or mobile app, Memtime can only track their email subject, without additional email details.
Memtime is a desktop app that captures computer activities, e.g. your time in programs, files, documents, browser tabs, etc. However, it can also capture your offline times, i.e. the time you’re away from your computer. Thanks to the integration with Microsoft Email + Calendar, you can see your times of absence next to your calendar appointments and emails. Rename offline times and log them as time entries if you need to track time spent in in-person meetings and other offline events.
Yes. Emails you send from the Outlook mobile app appear in your Memory Aid in the Mobile Emails column, next to your desktop activity. Calendar events from the Microsoft calendars you’ve selected appear in the Calendar column, no matter which device you added them on.
In your Memory Aid, calendar events and emails appear in separate columns. Events from your selected Microsoft calendars appear in the Calendar column. Emails sent from the Outlook desktop app appear under Captured Activities, while emails sent from the Outlook mobile app appear under Mobile Emails. Enable Read email content to see additional details, including the email subject, recipients, and message content, alongside your tracked activities.
Memtime integrates with many calendar apps, e.g. Google Calendar, macOS Calendar, iCloud Calendar, etc. You can connect any calendar app you’re using.
When you connect your Microsoft Email + Calendar to Memtime, your events and emails remain private to you. Nobody else can see your scheduled appointments or your email details.
