How do I get started?

If you’re new to Memtime, start a free trial and create your account. Follow the signup flow and select “I don’t use project software” – you’ll be redirected to the web project dashboard where you can set up projects and invite team members. Download Memtime’s desktop app to have both the automatic activity tracking and web-based project management. If you’re a current user of Memtime, go to Connected Apps and look up Memtime Projects. Proceed to connect it as you would any external integration. Once you have your projects set up, you’ll be able to assign time entries to them.

What is Memtime Projects?

Memtime Projects is a project management solution developed in-house by us at Memtime. It allows you to create and manage projects from any device without any add-ons or upgrades, solo or together with your team.

How much does it cost?

Memtime Projects is a free upgrade included in all Memtime subscriptions, i.e. Basic and above. Starting from $11/mo per user, you can have both unlimited automatic time tracking and project management all in one.

How is my data synced across devices?

Memtime stays true to its privacy guarantee — we never upload your activity data to the cloud. All tracked activities stay offline on your computer forever. When you create web-based projects in Memtime Projects, it works like any other external integration, i.e. only the time entries you create and assign to projects get exported. As a Manager, you can view the time entries submitted by your team members — but NEVER their activity timelines.

Can I use Memtime Projects together with my connected project software?

Yes, you can use multiple project management solutions with Memtime. However, please note that while Memtime Projects is included in all subscriptions (Basic and above), external integrations with 100+ apps require a Connect or above subscription.

Yes, Memtime remains a desktop application for automatic time tracking that captures your activity in all computer programs and stores this data locally on your device in a single copy. Memtime Projects is a web-based application developed by Memtime that allows you to log into a mobile-responsive dashboard and manage your projects and team members from any device. It’s up to you whether you use Memtime Projects or an external project management integration — either way, only you decide what to export and when.
