Hi Hermann. What is your job at neue kommunikation - and what kind of company are you?
Hermann: I am the owner, managing director, as well as head of creation and new business. nk neue kommunikation GmbH specializes in b2b communication with a 3-level distribution channel. We are operating in the areas of building, living, housing and in the area of boutique law firms with 100 or more employees.
Why are exact times important to you?
Hermann: We are calculating resources and costs on a project basis, therefore it is important to record every task, no matter how small. This allows the calculation to be checked retrospectively and any necessary adjustments to be made in the process.
What problem did you have with time tracking?
Hermann: Time tracking in Troi is too complicated, they have recently added a clock to run along, but for our project managers the day is just too defragmented that it doesn't help. Too often it is forgotten to write down times and the share of non-calculable hours has risen dangerously in relation to the gross profit.
We didn't want a tool that was again just an isolated solution. Thank God that wasn't the case.

Still, the cost per user is pretty hefty, so we'll probably never be able to use it for all employees. Group pricing would be nice here.
