What’s inside

In addition to timing all of your tasks down to the second, our online task timer comes with productivity reporting tools. Let’s take a look at all the features available to you.

Unlimited timers

Set as many timers as you like – this task clock supports unlimited tasks and lets you document every second of your work. Whether you’re just multitasking or tracking your day in small billing increments, e.g. 6-minute intervals, you can use our online timer to document every detail of your day.

Be mindful of the fact that for every new task timer you add, the timer that’s currently running will be auto-paused.

Custom activity log

As you set new timers and switch tasks, they’re arranged chronologically in your daily activity log. Your log is populated automatically with all the tasks you add a timer for, so there’s no need to record the same tasks twice. You can also customize your daily activity log before exporting it by renaming tasks or deleting individual activities.

PDF timesheet

At any point during the day, you can go over your activity log, delete any tasks you don’t need, and export your timesheet as a PDF file. It contains all of your task entries and your running daily total for easy reporting. Using our simple work timer, you can generate and export as many PDF timesheets as you like.

Auto-stop limit

We know it can be hard to remember about any running timers when you’re really focused on work. That’s why we built an auto-stop limit feature that you can enable to make sure you don’t have timers running for weeks on end.

Simply adjust the toggle from 0-10 hours if you want to activate an auto-stop limit for your task timer. Whenever a task is running longer than e.g. 3 hours, the timer will automatically stop and send the task to your daily activity log.

How to use a task timer

How to use this tool
Step 1: Give your task a name. Think of a concise but descriptive name for your task so it’s easier for you to read your activity log and PDF timesheet later. The task names for all of your timers can be edited at any point during the day so you can figure out a naming system that works best for you.
Step 2: Set the timer. Don’t forget to hit start for your task timer to begin recording. Any new task timer you start will automatically stop the timer that’s currently running. You can pause, reset task timers – or delete tasks altogether. You can also set an auto-stop limit to make sure your timers don’t run longer than e.g. 8 hours.
Step 3: Review your activity log. Every task you add and record is automatically added to your daily activity log. Go over your recorded tasks and delete any activities you don’t want to see in your exportable PDF timesheet. You can also rename tasks to improve the readability of your timesheet.
Step 4: Export PDF timesheet. Once you’re happy with your daily task list, save your activity log as a PDF file. Your timesheet will open in a new browser tab for your easy reference. With our online task timer, you can download as many PDF timesheets as you like.
Make your life easier. Memtime automatically tracks every minute for you, on autopilot. No timers needed.
